Local composers Cathy Likhuta and Thomas Green have something in common: they both compose fully-charged, dynamic, punctilious music. Black Square is a recently established string quartet from Brisbane, quickly proving themselves strong advocates of new Australian music. Black Square is joined on stage by Likhuta herself and prodigious hornist Peter Luff to present these composers’ most awe-inspiring new works for strings, horn and piano.

– QCGU Foyer Bar and all water fountains are not operational for the foreseeable future. Please feel free to bring your own water to our events.
– While masks are not mandatory for audiences, they are encouraged.
