Nadje Noordhuis, trumpet

Recently transplanted to Brisbane to join the faculty of the Queensland Conservatorium, Chris Stover has had a lively career as a creative improviser and composer in Seattle, New York City and internationally, collaborating with many of the most innovative names in jazz and new music. His music is at once exploratory and lyrical; texturally evocative and deeply rooted in groove. This is the Australian premiere of this exciting body of music, which will be recorded in 2022 for a new CD project.
