Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra – All the World’s A Stage Curated and Conducted by Professor Peter Morris
Symphony Orchestra
For the first major concert of the year, the Symphony Orchestra joins forces with our actors, singers and other special guests to celebrate the many ways in which William Shakespeare has inspired music over the ages. From Renaissance music (of his day) to opera, theatre and modern works, there is so much to celebrate. We’ll present Mendelssohn’s iconic A Midsummer Night’s Dream incidental music presented with Shakespearian dialogue, selections from West Side Story, exquisite choral settings by John Rutter and more.
90 minutes inc. interval
