Ein Heldenleben

The Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra presents an inspiring program of works conducted by Johannes Fritzsch.

The  program will open with Charles Ive’s The Unanswered Question, followed by the world premiere of the newly commissioned work by Australian composer Isabella Gerometta Misadventures on a Childhood Tune.  The concert will conclude with Richard Strauss’s Ein Heldenleben (A Hero’s Life), a musical autobiography filled with unflinching bravado.

Please note we are currently operating under the Griffith University Approved COVID 19 plan. The following restrictions apply:

– We are operating at a limited capacity for all events. Pre-purchased or registration of tickets is encouraged. To register for a concert in the Ian Hanger Recital Hall, please email [email protected] with the event title in the subject line.
– Entry will be via the Southbank Stairs on Level 2 only. The entrance from Grey St is currently closed.
– QCGU Foyer Bar and all water fountains are not operational for the foreseeable future. Please feel free to bring your own water to our events.
– While masks are not mandatory for audiences, they are encouraged.
