The Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra presents Rachmaninov’s Symphonic Dances, his final composition is a vibrant orchestral work in three movements. Also in the program is Rachmaninov’s beloved Piano Concerto No. 2 , played by Reuben Tsang, winner of the Nancy Weir Best Australian Pianist Prize at the 2023 Sydney International Piano Competition, and the First Prize Winner of the 2024 Lev Vlassenko Piano Competition.
Conducted by Johannes Fritzsch, the Conservatorium’s final major orchestral concert of the year is one not to miss.
